FAQs
+ Do you accept insurance?
We are in-network with most insurance companies. Please bring your ID and Insurance card with you to your first appointment and we will provide a complementary benefits check for you.
+ Will I get adjusted on the first visit?
Each and every case is different, so depending on the severity of your symptoms and the results of your scans and x-rays, the doctor may find it necessary to adjust that day. Typically, our patients will get adjusted at their second visit after the Report of Findings. This allows Dr. Mark time to thoroughly review your case history, your scans and your x-rays in order to give his best recommendations for your health care needs.
+ How much will each adjustment cost?
Every person and every case is different. We will not know how much each adjustment will cost until Dr. Mark has had a chance to evaluate your findings and your history in order to determine what care you will need. It is important for us to keep care affordable.
+ How long is the first visit?
You can expect your first visit to take approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

+ How many visits will I need?
Every case is different. We will not know how many visits you will need until we have had a chance to look at your history, understand your goals and perform our evaluations.
+ Will I need X-rays?
Every person and case is different and your need to get xrays taken depends on your health history and the outcome of your initial assessments. We believe that to see is to know, therefore, x-rays are a vital tool that allows us to see the health of your spine as well as understand any limitations and expectations you may have that may affect your results and healing.
+ I am in a lot of pain, I was really hoping to get adjusted today?
We don’t typically adjust on the first visit. There are two things that are most important to us, your health and our reputation, and we are not willing to jeopardize either by rushing into your treatment. Exceptions are made on a case by case basis. It is imperative that we discuss your health history and complete our assessments to determine the root cause of your health concerns and what type of care is needed.
+ Why do newborn babies and children need to be adjusted?
Often the biggest trauma in your life is the birthing process. We also know that sick kids become sick adults and it’s much easier to raise healthy kids to become healthy adults! The adjustments are very gentle. The force used to make a correction is equivalent to checking the ripeness of a tomato.
+ What exactly is a subluxation?
Your brain controls every function in your body and it does that through your spinal cord and the nerves that run between each of the bones in your back, which are called vertebrae. Subluxations occur when your spinal bones shift out of alignment, putting pressure on the nerves and causing nerve interference; this ultimately leads to aches, pain and dysfunction in your nervous system.
+ Do I have to get adjusted forever once I start?
When our practice members are under consistent principled chiropractic care they feel how well their body is able to function and do not want to stop getting adjusted.
+ Do you offer a discount for military?
YES! First off, Thank You for your service and for fighting for our freedom. We offer a complimentary exam and 20% off our regular adjustment rates. We would love to care for your family in the same manner as well.
